Greater Purpose....

Most people think that when the Bible states that God will prepare a table before our enemies(psalm 23:5), it means to come back literally at the person you call your enemy and wave your success in their face, well that's not how it's supposed to be.

In Matthews 5:44 the Bible states that we should love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.

Now who are the enemies that God will prepare a table before ?

Now here's my theory..

The hardships n the persecution that you have been put through or are going through at this juncture, God says you are going emerge victorious no matter how big or terrible they are (Romans 8:28).

Now the table being set before your enemies, yes it might be literally before the people

Who have been persecuting but the vital part is you have been praying for them in the same manner.

Now when the table gets set before them it won't to be bring glory to you but it will be to give glory to God, in other words people will see his greatness through you and they will feel the need to glorify God because that's what God wants.

It is not about anybody but God so let's make our motives/intentions right with the lord.

SING TO GOD NOT THE WORLD

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Eph 5:19

Brethren the word of God is straight and forward. The above verse tells us something powerful about praise and worship to God. We as human beings whom God created in his own image and likeness,it's us who should praise and worship God more than the birds, flowers ,trees, animals you name them,because we have voices that can sing to him. Let me assure you that wen you sing to God that blesses him n wen u sing song that please that world that pleases the devil and I'm sure you don't want that do you ?

So change they way u sing because the world has turned against God, right now people sing to please themselves, others sing to satisfy their loved ones n others sing to their idols. But with us is different we are to sing hymns,spiritual songs in our heart which will bless God our father, not R&b.soul,house,hip-hop....you name them.

God gave people voices to sing unto him not the other way round. Singing songs That are not praising God,obviously they praise the world...fashion,money,cars all those things. I urge u..whoever u are wherever u are stat writing hymns n spiritual songs to our God n separate yourself from the world n give yourself to God.
